About the Role

In this role you will ensure that the product safety story can be developed, supported, and told to regulators and other stakeholders through: Ownership of product safety standards covering product contents (bulk formula, raw materials, packaging) and related processes; Chair the Safety Committee; Own global Adverse Event trending and relevant processes; Advise Recall Sub-Committee and Committee, as needed; engages with membership trade associations and regulators as scientific representative of Nu Skin.

What you will do...

  • Develops product safety standards over all global product categories
  • Maintains safety standards based on Product Discoveries feedback and evolving science
  • Establishes network of third-party safety experts that ensures quick access on an ad-hoc basis
  • Utilizes network to develop and maintain safety standards, and to analyze borderline situations.
  • Works with cross-functional stakeholders to help develop and maintain overall product standards that include established safety standards.
  • Chairs the Safety Committee.
  • Oversees Adverse Event processes and safety-related decisions
  • Improve safety-touching processes, as needed
  • Provide support to trade associations and regulators on product safety and other relevant science, upon request of the association representative
  • Meet with regulators to educate them on the safety of our products, product categories, etc.
  • Contribute to Recall Sub-Committee and Committee, upon request
