FT Faculty Nutritional Science

Start date of this position:  as early as May 2023, but no later than August 28, 2023

Required Degree: PhD in Nutritional Science or a related field, or an equivalent doctoral degree.

The required degree must be completed by the start date.

Qualifications:   

  • Minimum of earned doctoral degree in Nutritional Science or a related field (Physiology, Biochemistry, Molecular Biology, Public Health, etc.), or an equivalent doctoral degree.
  • Evidence of ability to teach and conduct primary research in the area of Nutritional Science or related field.
  • Teaching experience at the college/university level or relevant experience in industry desired.
  • Rank commensurate with experience. Applicants must meet university standards, a record of publication in peer-reviewed journals, demonstrated success as an instructor, and a history of successful grantsmanship.

Duties/Expectations

  • Teach undergraduate and graduate courses.
  • Advise graduate students.
  • Maintain a productive research program.
  • Serve in Department, College, and University committees, as appointed.
  • Be an active participant in national/international professional organizations and activities.
